Day 1Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco as we travel through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas toward the village of Lares, well known for its natural hot springs and traditional Andean communities.
After a short break, we'll begin our hike to the community of Huacahuasi, where you'll experience the local way of life and learn about the ancient weaving traditions that have been preserved for generations. In the evening, we'll enjoy dinner and spend the night at our campsite.

Day 2After breakfast, we'll begin the ascent to Ipsaycocha Pass, one of the highest points of the trek, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, glacial lakes, and herds of alpacas and llamas.
We'll then descend toward the traditional community of Patacancha, passing through stunning highland landscapes and remote villages where Andean customs remain alive.
At the end of the hike, we'll travel to Ollantaytambo, where you'll spend the night and prepare for the next stage of the adventure.

Day 3Early in the morning, we'll board the train to Km 104, the starting point of our hike along the Short Inca Trail.
During the trek, we'll visit the impressive archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna, one of the most important and best-preserved ruins along the Inca Trail.
We'll then continue to Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), where you'll enjoy your first unforgettable panoramic view of Machu Picchu before descending toward the citadel.
Afterward, we'll take the shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes, where you'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 4After breakfast, we'll take one of the first shuttle buses to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the most important areas of the archaeological sanctuary, including the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana Stone, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the agricultural terraces.
Once the guided tour is complete, you'll have free time to continue exploring the citadel at your own pace or enjoy an optional hike to Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain (advance reservation and availability required).
At the scheduled time, we'll return to Aguas Calientes to board the train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
