Day 1Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in Cusco at 6:00 a.m. From there, you will travel through the scenic route of Cusco – Checacupe – Pitumarca – Phinaya, passing beautiful Andean landscapes and traditional villages.
Breakfast and lunch will be served along the way.
Upon arrival in Phinaya, you will settle into your family homestay or local lodge before enjoying an easy acclimatization walk around the community. This is a great opportunity to learn about the traditions, daily life, and customs of the local residents while adapting to the high altitude.
In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in comfortable local accommodations.

Day 2After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the starting point of the hike.
From there, you will begin your trek toward the spectacular Quelccaya Glacier, surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes, crystal-clear streams, and snow-covered peaks.
Once you reach the glacier, you will have plenty of time to admire its immense ice formations, enjoy the incredible scenery, take photographs, and appreciate one of Peru's most remarkable natural wonders.
After the visit, you will hike back to the vehicle, where lunch will be served before beginning the return journey to Cusco.
You are expected to arrive in Cusco between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
