Day 1The adventure begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco to start the journey toward Manu National Park.
During the route, we will travel through the beautiful Andean landscapes and visit the colonial town of Paucartambo, famous for its traditions and cultural heritage. We will also make a stop at the archaeological site of Ninamarca, where you can observe ancient pre-Inca tombs.
We will continue descending into the Manu Cloud Forest, a unique ecosystem full of life where you can observe different species of birds, orchids, giant ferns, and, with some luck, the famous Andean Cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird.
At the end of the day, we will arrive in Pilcopata, where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a comfortable lodge.

Day 2After breakfast, we will continue our journey toward Puerto Atalaya, located on the banks of the Upper Madre de Dios River.
Here, we will board a boat and navigate along the river while enjoying the amazing Amazon landscapes. During the journey, we may observe different species of birds, turtles, monkeys, and other animals that inhabit this incredible ecosystem.
Upon arrival at the lodge, we will explore the Amazon trails accompanied by our guide, who will explain about medicinal plants, giant trees, and the importance of protecting this tropical forest.
At night, we will take part in a guided night walk to discover insects, amphibians, and other nocturnal species that become active after sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3Early in the morning, we will begin our activities in the rainforest.
We will visit Machuwasi Lake, where we will walk along a floating platform to observe Amazonian birds, monkeys, and other animals that live around this ecosystem.
Later, we will visit a parrot clay lick, a natural site where different species of parrots and small macaws gather to consume minerals from the clay, creating one of the most fascinating wildlife spectacles in the Amazon.
After lunch, we will take guided walks around the lodge area to search for different species of wildlife and learn more about the incredible biodiversity of Manu.
In the evening, we will return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4After breakfast, we will begin our return journey to the city of Cusco.
During the trip, we will once again enjoy the beautiful Amazon landscapes and cloud forest, making some stops to appreciate nature and take photographs.
Finally, we will ascend back into the Andes and arrive in Cusco approximately between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, depending on road conditions.
